Time to get serious
Monday, November 28, 2011 at 2:55PM I have been very bad at uploading new pictures to my website the last year. I just came back from a trip to Japan and I took a lot of pictures while I was there. I will try to improve and use this opportunity to actually get some new pictures on this website. To start with - until I get my vacation pictures organized - I will post one of my creative pictures from earlier this year.
I call it World of Volleyball

3rd Annual Smart Car Rally
Monday, June 6, 2011 at 1:08PM Sunday June 5th was the third annual Smart Car Rally. Appoximately 75 Smart cars and their owners met at the Mercedes dealership in Kelowna and drove around the valley all morning. There were several stops on the way, but the most scenic one was without doubt Greata Ranch outside Peachland. After having enjoyed the view and taken some pictures, everybody drove back to Kelowna to have lunch at the Hotel Eldorado. It was a great day and hopefully we will do it again next year - maybe with even more Smart cars!

One Day in the Life of the World
Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 10:17AM Some people came up with the idea to have people all over the world take a picture on May 6th 2011. The picture can be of anything you choose. The idea is to collect the pictures as kind of a digital time capsule to show a regular day in the life of anybody in the world. Check out www.oneday.publisha.com for more information.
This picture is my contribution. Just a regular spring day in my back yard.

Agility Christmas Fun Match
Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 8:52AM Friday night I had the opportunity to take pictures at a fun dog agility event. I have photographed dog agility before, but it has always been outdoors, but this was indoors, so this was quite different.
It was a challenge because of the lighting in the barn and also because I had very limited experience shooting in those conditions. I can't say that I am 100% happy with all my pictures, but it was definitely a fun evening. The dogs were amazing - some more enthusiastic than others, but no matter how big or small, how fast or slow, the entertaiment was endless.
When spring comes, I would like to do more of this kind of photography and I am not afraid to admit, that being outside will make it just a little easier for me as a photographer.
You can see some of my pictures here.
Carl Dubeau was also taking pictures that night and you can see his pictures here.

I'm back!
Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 10:19AM I have been really bad at updating my website this year, but it's time to get serious again! Let's start by having some fun.
Here's a picture I think is fun. You might like it...you might not. Either way you probably have an opinion about it. Feel free to tell me what you think.
